The Spelling Bee pits teams of spellers (ages 16 and up) against each other through 3 rounds of words in a race to the highest score to find out which team will be this year's Champion Spellers. Audience members can enjoy the antics, along with some munchies, a cash bar, and raffle baskets.

Tickets are $25 in advance ($30 at the door) and will go on sale April 8. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time online and in person at the library, or at the door the night of the event. High School students are welcome to attend. Student Admission is $5

Maine's working waterfronts have been decimated by back to back winter storms. The aftermath has left many of our coastal friends without access to their gear, destroyed piers & wharves, and a loss of way of life. 10% of all sales from this event will be donated directly to the Maine Coast Fisherman's Association in an effort to get assistance to those in need! Live entertainment provided by Dave & Chris Gagne starting at 5pm in Merrymeeting Hall, and kitchen & bar specials running all day.
